JOAQUINA WORLD x Ilona Fiddy (SS23)
The Tricycle Card Deck and Transient Tattoo Sheet are part of the collaboration between Manila/Toronto based brand JOAQUINA WORLD and tattooer and visual artist, Ilona Fiddy.
Releasing first in Manila, Philippines and then globally via retail and online partners, the collaboration consisted of co-branded apparel, accessories, home goods, and a tattoo pop up in a brand showroom designed in collaboration with furniture retailer Mid Century Manila.
JOAQUINA WORLD is the creative art practice, lifestyle brand and special project umbrella of KEAVAN YAZDANI, the Grammy-Nominated, former Creative Director of recording artist Daniel Caesar.
PRODUCT
Our team executed the manufacturing, sourcing and final delivery of two hard goods products in the collection, the Tricyle Card Deck and Transient Tattoo Sheet.
Each product featured unique challenges, with the card deck featuring casino-grade linen cardstock, and the tattoo sheet comprising of skin-safe ink transfer materials. Both products featured original artwork created by both Ilona and the JOAQUINA team, which were tech packed, sourced and sampled by Raeland.
The two products were released in tandem with a full apparel collection, campaign as well as a retail and tattoo showroom experience in Makati, Manila Philippines.
